TL;DR

Forward Deployed Engineer (AI): Driving new-customer activation and technical onboarding for Voice AI products with an accent on debugging customer codebases and tuning model configurations. Focus on removing technical blockers, optimizing real-time audio pipelines, and bridging the gap between initial API calls and production scale.

Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote or Hybrid in New York or San Francisco)

Salary: $150,000 - 200,000 OTE

What you will do

• Own the GTM funnel from first API call to consistent production usage against quarterly goals.
• Proactively diagnose and remove technical blockers for developers scaling their usage.
• Debug customer codebases in Python and JS/Node, shipping patches for real-time audio and WebSocket issues.
• Optimize model configurations (end-of-turn detection, language coverage) based on specific use cases.
• Lead architecture and security conversations, including DPAs and MSAs, to drive commercial closure.
• Build internal AI-powered tooling and agents to scale onboarding operations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering, sales engineering, or solutions architecture.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/Node.js.
• Working knowledge of WebSockets, audio pipelines, and latency budgets.
• Proven track record of carrying a quota or achieving activation/ARR targets.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with Voice AI, ASR, speech-to-text, or telephony infrastructure.
• Experience building and shipping custom AI agents or workflows.
