What you will do

• Own architecture for .NET ecosystem infrastructure, enabling secure and reproducible build and distribution workflows.
• Design automation for building, updating, and publishing NuGet packages, incorporating vulnerability scanning and SBOMs.
• Develop internal developer tools including MSBuild tasks, CLIs, and code generators to improve package maintenance at scale.
• Solve complex dependency and version-resolution issues within large codebases and mono-repos.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape the .NET libraries roadmap and deliver key business outcomes.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and hands-on debugging of infrastructure issues.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in the .NET ecosystem focusing on build systems, packaging, or developer tooling.
• Proven experience with MSBuild extensions, NuGet tooling, and CI/CD automation.
• Proficiency in Go for build orchestration and automation tooling.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code and cloud-native environments (Kubernetes, Docker, GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Strong background in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Open source contributions to the .NET ecosystem.
• Experience with software supply chain security (SLSA, SBOMs, sigstore).
• Familiarity with Linux distribution packaging or reproducible build systems like Bazel or Nix.
