Salary: $105,900 - $180,000 Annually

What you will do
- Design, assemble, and integrate rack-level HPC systems, including compute, storage, networking, and cooling.
- Perform hands-on server bring-up, component installation, and detailed rack documentation.
- Evaluate and select HPC components (CPUs, GPUs, memory, NICs) and manage BOM definition and lifecycles.
- Configure and manage systems using IPMI/BMC tools and tune Linux OS settings for high-performance workloads.
- Integrate and validate high-bandwidth networking (Ethernet, InfiniBand, RoCE) and shared storage solutions.
- Execute system validation, stress testing, and root-cause analysis for hardware and HW/SW interactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience with HPC hardware systems (or 3+ years with a Master's degree).
- Strong hands-on experience with server assembly, rack integration, and IPMI/BMC management.
- Proficiency in Linux system administration within HPC or server environments.
- Deep understanding of system-level characteristics including performance, thermals, and power.
- Ability to debug complex issues across hardware, firmware, OS, and system configuration.
Nice to have
- Experience with rack-scale system design in production or lab environments.
- Familiarity with high-speed HPC networking (100G/200G/400G Ethernet, InfiniBand).
- Experience with GPU-accelerated HPC systems.
- Background in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or inspection systems.
