TL;DR

Account Executive (SaaS): Selling fundraising solutions to higher education institutions with an accent on strategic account management and complex sales cycles. Focus on closing 6-figure deals, navigating multi-stakeholder environments, and scaling a best-in-class sales organization.

Location: Remote (US). Must be based in the United States. Strong preference for candidates residing in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Tennessee.

What you will do

  • Drive new logo acquisition and installed base sales for four-year colleges and large universities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contracting with diverse stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with senior executives at the VP and Chancellor level.
  • Execute clear territory plans to achieve and exceed annual sales quotas.
  • Collaborate with marketing and partner success teams to optimize the sales process.
  • Contribute to the growth and shaping of a best-in-class sales organization.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in SaaS sales.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas and closing 6-figure deals.
  • Experience navigating complex selling situations within large institutions.
  • Experience selling to senior executives using a value-first approach.
  • Ability to travel 30-35% of the time.

Nice to have

  • Startup experience with a proven ability to be a "builder" and operate independently.
  • Knowledge of fundraising, crowdfunding, or peer-to-peer fundraising.
  • Prior experience in fundraising or volunteer work helping schools raise money.
