Senior Solutions Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Solutions Engineer (Storage & Data Infrastructure): Partner with sales reps to drive business outcomes by positioning hirify.global solutions across storage, hybrid cloud, and data protection with an accent on discovery, demonstrations, and customer modernization. Focus on building channel relationships, leading technical conversations around AI readiness and cyber resiliency, and collaborating cross-functionally to win deals in commercial accounts.

Location: Remote position; candidates must be based in Nebraska, Kansas, or Idaho metro area to support customers. Candidates not located in these regions will be automatically disqualified. Expect travel throughout the territory.

Compensation: 197,200 - 255,200 USD (OTE)

What you'll do

• Serve as technical lead and trusted advisor for commercial accounts in the territory.
• Partner with account managers to develop strategy, build pipeline, and drive success in existing and new opportunities.
• Build relationships with channel partners and collaborate to co-sell solutions.
• Lead discovery to uncover priorities and position hirify.global solutions like ONTAP, SAN, NAS, hybrid cloud, and data protection.
• Engage on AI readiness, cyber resiliency, and data management strategies.
• Travel for customer meetings, partner engagements, and events.

Requirements

• 5+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, systems engineering, or customer-facing infrastructure role in quota-driven environment.
• Experience supporting commercial or mid-market customers through sales lifecycle.
• Strong background in infrastructure technologies; storage and storage-adjacent preferred.
• Knowledge of SAN, NAS, block/file architectures, hybrid cloud, virtualization, backup/recovery, data protection.
• Must be based in Nebraska, Kansas, or Idaho metro area with ability to travel in territory.
• Strong communication, presentation, discovery skills; self-motivated team player.

• Experience positioning infrastructure solutions and translating tech to business value.
• Familiarity working with channel partners in collaborative model.
