What you will do

• Lead a consultancy-style centre of excellence providing thought leadership on financial forecasting models.
• Develop and execute models used to calculate IFRS 9 ECL and credit risk capital through annual ICAAP.
• Enhance modelling standards for the bank's budgeting and stress-testing activities.
• Collaborate with portfolio strategy, model validation, finance, and external audit teams.
• Present forecast model results and complex technical issues to senior management.

Requirements

• Professional background in financial forecast modelling or execution.
• Strong technical toolkit including SQL and Python (SAS/R experience also considered).
• Proven track record of using analytical skills to deliver technical projects.
• Ability to communicate complex problems and solutions clearly to non-experts.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to the UK (visa sponsorship is provided).

Nice to have

• Experience with regulatory stress testing exercises such as ICAAP or EBA Stress-testing.
• Experience with data visualisation tools like Streamlit or Looker.
• Familiarity with GCP, dbt, BigQuery, or Anaplan.
