What you will do

• Execute all physical design stages including synthesis, place and route, clock tree synthesis, and floor planning.
• Conduct verification and signoff activities such as formal equivalence verification, STA, and layout verification.
• Develop and optimize physical design methodologies and flow automation to improve power, frequency, and area metrics.
• Analyze results to address violations and recommend improvements for future product architectures.
• Lead technical strategy and influence the technical direction of the organization and the broader industry.
• Mentor technical leaders and foster community growth within the engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience, Master's with 8+ years, or PhD with 6+ years in physical design.
• Expertise in physical design methodologies, EDA tools, and flows (Synthesis, P&R, CTS, STA).
• Strong technical background in static and dynamic power integrity and reliability verification.
• Proven experience optimizing designs for advanced semiconductor processes.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model at the Santa Clara, CA site.
