What you will do

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicle systems, including chassis, suspension, brakes, steering, and throttle.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues specific to autonomous vehicles, such as sensor installation and alignment.
• Collaborate with Fleet Operations to resolve fleet blocking issues in a timely manner.
• Partner with Engineering and Hardware teams to deliver diagnostic solutions for complex technical problems.
• Provide service coverage through frequent travel, estimated at 50-70% of the role.

Requirements

• Experience diagnosing and repairing modern CAN bus-based automotive systems.
• Functional understanding of tractor/trailer repairs, including tires, brakes, and air systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems and sensors.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Class A CDL and pass a DOT Physical.
• Must pass pre-employment background, drug, and breath alcohol screens.
• Must meet U.S. national security requirements regarding residence and citizenship status.

Nice to have

• Current Class A CDL with a good driving record.
• Experience troubleshooting advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
• Previous experience working with Autonomous Vehicles.
• Basic knowledge of hardware networking and Linux command line.
