TL;DR
Reporting and Governance Lead (Education): Designing and implementing governance frameworks and integrated reporting for the General Qualification Reform programme with an accent on senior stakeholder insight and decision-making. Location: Hybrid (2 days in office per week). Candidates must be based in or near Manchester or Guildford, UK.
Salary: £56,500 - £68,000 (depending on location)

What you will do
- Design and improve governance frameworks and ways of working to ensure clear and well-supported decision-making.
- Own integrated reporting cycles and create decision-focused updates for senior leaders and governance forums.
- Manage integrated plans, milestones, and dependencies to make risks visible early.
- Track and assure delivery KPIs to maintain transparency and consistency across the programme.
- Provide independent assurance on the quality and reliability of reporting used by leaders.
- Set high-quality reporting standards, templates, and guidance for all programme teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and operating governance and reporting frameworks within complex programmes or portfolios.
- Strong analytical capability to synthesise complex information into clear, decision-focused insight.
- Experience in dependency and milestone management and maintaining integrated schedules.
- Demonstrable ability to influence and align senior stakeholders without direct line authority.
- High attention to detail balanced with the ability to work at pace.
- Must be able to work from the Manchester or Guildford office at least 2 days per week.
Nice to have
- Experience in large transformation programmes or regulated environments.
- Background in education, assessment, or public sector.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Planner Premium and Power BI.
- Understanding of PMO operating models.
