AV Fleet Technician

TL;DR

AV Fleet Technician (Autonomous Vehicles): Execute maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks across vehicle and AV systems in a shop environment with an accent on diagnostics, sensor checks, and following SOPs. Focus on completing work orders, capturing logs and data, and ensuring safe operational readiness under guidance from senior technicians.

Location: Dallas, Texas (onsite shop environment). Role may require U.S. person status, residence verification, and/or citizenship due to sensitive requirements; visa sponsorship possible for eligible candidates.

What you will do

• Execute maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on vehicles and AV systems, completing work orders accurately and on time.
• Perform inspections, basic repairs, and system checks following SOPs.
• Work with AV components including sensors, capture logs, photos, and diagnostic data.
• Follow defined workflows, document all work, and escalate issues promptly.
• Participate in shift briefs, debriefs, handoffs, and collaborate with senior technicians and leads.

Requirements

• 1–3 years experience in fleet, automotive, or technical operations
• Basic experience with maintenance or mechanical systems
• Willingness to learn AV systems and diagnostics
• Detail-oriented mindset with focus on safety, accuracy, and consistent SOP adherence
• Clear communication and quick issue escalation
• Reliable execution in a structured shop environment

Nice to have

• Experience in shop or garage environment
• Exposure to autonomous vehicle systems or sensors
• Familiarity with tools, inspections, or maintenance workflows
