Quality Technician (Automotive)

TL;DR

Quality Technician (Automotive): Inspecting components and finished military vehicles to ensure product conformity with an accent on diagnosis and troubleshooting during vehicle builds. Location: Onsite in Concord, North Carolina. Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylee, or refugee)

What you will do

• Inspect components and finished products to ensure only conforming products move through the plant.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues during vehicle builds using assembly tools and processes.
• Read and interpret general automotive process documents and drawings.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to identify nonconformances and contain issues.
• Support corrective actions to ensure high product quality standards.

Requirements

• HS diploma with relevant work experience, technical course work, or professional certifications.
• 5+ years of automotive experience in vehicle or component assembly.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to export control restrictions.
• Role may require DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• No immigration sponsorship provided for this role now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Associate degree.
• Experience in armoring or military environments.
• 2 years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Experience with machine shop fabrication equipment or one-off/prototype vehicle builds.
