Site Reliability Engineer (AWS/Azure)

Salary: $125,000 – $165,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Ensure high reliability and availability of cloud platforms, implementing new infrastructure features and optimizing performance.
• Define and promote cloud optimizations, best practices for reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Analyze and resolve complex issues at infrastructure, systems, network, and application levels.
• Share expertise on cloud technologies, automation, security, and reliability practices with engineering teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation to maintain cloud infrastructure availability and performance.

Requirements

• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or relevant field
• 3+ years with IaC tools (Terraform, Crossplane, Ansible)
• 3+ years with production Kubernetes systems
• 3+ years in cloud engineering (preferably AWS, Azure)
• 3+ years operating/building microservices
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Bash, Python, Go)
• Experience with CI/CD, autoscaling, networking security, secret management (Vault, AWS SSM)
• Observability tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Splunk)
• Helm for managing/creating charts
• Ability to participate in rotating on-call shifts

Nice to have

• Database experience (MongoDB)
• Infrastructure security and compliance knowledge
• Tools like Temporal, ClickHouse, Fire Hydrant, Grafana, Istio
• Certifications: CKA/CKS, AWS Solutions Architect/Security/Networking
• Ability to obtain clearance for IL5 systems
