Cloud Enablement Engineer (AWS): Providing a suite of AWS-centered solutions to enable product development and engineering organizations to deliver technical offerings with an accent on infrastructure standards, security, and cost-efficiency. Focus on building IaC pattern libraries, optimizing deployment processes, and enhancing the overall developer experience.
Location: Must be based in the U.S. (excluding U.S. territories)
Salary: $155,000 – $205,000

What you will do
- Implement AWS cloud standards for infrastructure, networking, and software, optimizing for security and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications for IaC environments and compliance.
- Support and maintain automation and deployment processes to improve developer experience (DevEx).
- Develop and support IaC pattern libraries to enable "plug-and-play" environment builds.
- Manage monitoring and logging solutions to ensure platform performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve AWS security, performance, and scalability issues.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in AWS Cloud Services, including PaaS offerings.
- Experience with distributed systems and CI/CD tools such as GitLab and GitHub.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash languages.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
- Experience troubleshooting containerized workloads in ECS, Docker Swarm, or Kubernetes.
Nice to have
- Experience with serverless technologies within AWS or GCP.
- Experience with Multi-Region deployments within AWS or GCP.
- Prior involvement in running developer surveys to guide DevEx improvements.
