What you will do

• Build and structure engineering teams, lead hiring, onboarding, and ensure optimal composition
• Drive teams toward outcomes by setting expectations, removing blockers, and ensuring sustainable delivery
• Define and drive technical roadmap aligned with product and business goals
• Foster culture of ownership, psychological safety, and continuous improvement
• Raise engineering maturity, define standards, and own architecture decisions at value stream level
• Surface risks, manage dependencies, and drive technical debt resolution

Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering experience, 2–3 years leading engineering teams
• Strong full-stack background: backend (Python, Java, or Golang) and frontend (React, TypeScript)
• Experience designing/operating high-load production systems (APIs, data pipelines)
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems (consistency, queues, service mesh, tracing)
• Track record leading through tech/team leads, managing at scale
• Grasp of system reliability (SLOs, observability, incident management)

• Event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Kubernetes
• Value stream/team structures (Team Topologies)
• Background in real-time systems, fintech, gaming, or betting
• Platform/infrastructure engineering
