Salary: 115,000–140,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead and develop a 24/7 graphics playout team across multiple locations, including union and non-union staff.
• Oversee execution of full-screen graphics, lower thirds, and visual elements during live news, breaking events, and pre-produced programming.
• Operate playout systems like Vizrt Trio and coordinate with editorial, production, and design teams for real-time updates.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, maintain quality control, and support rollout of new graphics technologies.
• Liaise between engineering, show teams, and graphics groups to optimize workflows and ensure on-air reliability.
• Train staff, foster accountability, and drive continuous improvement in high-pressure environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years in graphics playout in live broadcast environments, minimum 3 years in news programming.
• 1+ year in leadership, supervisory, or mentorship roles.
• Proficiency with Vizrt platforms (including Trio), Ross, Chyron, iNews, and broadcast control room workflows.
• Experience in live studio/control rooms, large-scale displays, and professional studio equipment.
• Exceptional troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and multitasking under live pressure.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
