Event Success Manager (Event Tech): Act as strategic advisor to professional event planners at corporations and associations, leading onboarding, strategy sessions, technical training, and end-to-end project management for successful events on platform with an accent on full event lifecycle from planning to post-event. Focus on managing multiple concurrent events, cross-functional collaboration, monitoring success metrics, and driving customer adoption and retention.
Location: Fully remote from anywhere in Canada; must accommodate Eastern Time working hours.
Salary: Up to $65,000 CAD depending on experience

What you will do
- Serve as trusted partner and strategic advisor to event planners, implementing event technology for successful events.
- Lead customer onboarding, strategy sessions, relationship-building, and technical product training with events-first mindset.
- Manage full-service event contracts end-to-end, overseeing multiple concurrent events across full lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate requirements, resolve issues, and deliver seamless experiences.
- Monitor customer health metrics, conduct regular touchpoints like quarterly reviews, and drive adoption and retention.
- Support live events as needed, including occasional evenings, weekends, or travel; share feedback for product improvements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years hands-on experience planning or coordinating professional B2B events (conferences, trade shows, corporate meetings, association events); experience with internal company events alone does not qualify.
- Demonstrated experience using event technology (registration platforms, event apps, virtual platforms like Cvent, Eventbrite, Bizzabo, Hopin).
- Genuine interest in technology and its impact on events industry.
- Strong written/verbal communication to translate technical concepts for non-technical organizers.
- Top organizational skills for managing multiple projects, thorough documentation, consistent follow-through.
- Empathetic, problem-solving mindset focused on client outcomes.
- Safe, ergonomic remote workspace and reliable internet (30Mbps+ download for video calls).
Nice to have
- 2-year diploma or 4-year degree in hospitality or events management.
- Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRMs.
- Previous customer onboarding for technical products or SaaS platforms.
