Asset Management - Baggage Team Lead

Location: Dublin, Co. Dublin, Ireland (onsite, 12-hour shifts across 24/7 cycle)

What you will do

• Oversee maintenance and performance of baggage handling systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and KPI targets.
• Monitor and control BHS via SCADA and control room systems, investigating jams and stoppages.
• Lead asset inspections, health checks, and continuous improvement initiatives with the asset management team.
• Coordinate with stakeholders during system failures, managing response and resolution times.
• Deliver shift reports, incident reporting, and handover procedures using CMMS for work orders.
• Supervise contractors, promote health and safety, and lead your team on schedules and performance standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years post Electrician apprenticeship experience, ideally with Team Lead exposure
• Comprehensive technical understanding of BHS assets (conveyors, sortation, PLCs, SCADA, HMI, EDS X-ray)
• Proven leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS
• Focus on health and safety, ability to influence stakeholders
• Willingness for shift work (12-hour shifts, 24/7), flexibility in hours and call-ins
