TL;DR

Outside Sales Executive (Payment Technology): Sell Genius® POS and payment platform to small and mid-sized merchants across restaurant, retail, and service industries with an accent on full sales cycle management from prospecting to closing. Focus on delivering consultative demos, negotiating deals, and upselling solutions to streamline operations and boost revenue.

Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan. Must live within the geographic area of the posting. At least 75% of time in the field.

Base Salary: $40,000. Annual On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000+. Annual Range: $80,000-$150,000 (performance-based, includes residuals and bonuses).

What you will do

  • Sell Genius® and hirify.global solutions to small and mid-sized businesses in restaurant, retail, and service sectors.
  • Build and manage sales pipeline via field prospecting, digital outreach, and networking.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual presentations demonstrating value in payments, operations, and customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with District Manager to set appointments, close short-cycle sales, and identify opportunities.
  • Track activities in Atlas and Salesforce, including upsells and cross-sells to existing merchants.
  • Stay updated on fintech trends to advise clients as a technology expert.

Requirements

  • Must live within the geographic area of the posting (Grand Rapids, Michigan).
  • Proven B2B sales success, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or merchant services (2+ years).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills for face-to-face and virtual selling.
  • High energy, self-motivated, competitive drive to exceed targets.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to spend 75%+ time in the field.
  • High school diploma or GED (college degree preferred); 18+ years old.
