S&OP Lead

TL;DR

S&OP Lead: Orchestrating the end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning process as connective tissue between Business Development, Finance, Engineering, and Operations with an accent on creating a consensus-based operating plan balancing demand with supply capabilities. Focus on facilitating demand forecasts, supply planning, financial alignment, scenario modeling, and KPI management including forecast accuracy and on-time delivery.

What you will do

• Lead the monthly S&OP cycle including Demand Review, Supply Review, and Executive Reconciliation meetings.
• Facilitate consensus demand forecast incorporating statistical trends, sales inputs, and program milestones for defense contracts.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and procurement on capacity constraints, material risks, and labor requirements.
• Align S&OP plan with Annual Operating Plan and quarterly financial forecasts.
• Develop What-If scenarios for program shifts, supply disruptions, or new contracts.
• Own and report key metrics like Forecast Accuracy (MAPE/BIAS), On-Time Delivery, and Capacity Utilization.

Requirements

• 7+ years in Supply Chain, Operations, or Program Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Finance.
• High proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Deltek Costpoint) and Advanced Planning Software.
• Ability to manage up and challenge executives with data-driven insights.
• Experience in S&OP and Demand Planning.
• Ability to walk, stand, lift up to 25 lbs, and navigate facilities; occasional off-hours work.

Nice to have

• Defense or Aerospace experience.
• MBA or APICS certification (CSCP/CPIM).
• Experience leading cross-functional process implementations.
