What you will do

• Own the mechanical and mechatronic verification test strategy across product platforms.
• Develop system-level verification plans, test matrices, and acceptance criteria based on requirements.
• Design, build, and commission test fixtures, rigs, and automated test equipment.
• Program and maintain PLCs and control systems for motion control, actuation, and data acquisition.
• Write and execute EVT, DVT, and PVT procedures for complex hardware.
• Analyze test data to identify failure modes and collaborate with design teams on corrective actions.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience testing electromechanical and mechatronic systems.
• Hands-on experience with PLC programming, data acquisition, and motion control systems.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD tools for test equipment design.
• Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence (due to ITAR/EAR restrictions).
• Must be able to work onsite at the facility in Salt Lake City, UT.

• Experience with UAVs, robotics, or industrial automation.
