Technical Engineer I (Geotechnical)

What you will do

• Review geotechnical reports for global projects, analyze soil/rock conditions, and determine strength parameters
• Perform foundation designs using LPILE and in-house tools
• Conduct corrosion designs for steel piles per local standards
• Plan and prepare specifications for pile load testing
• Review and interpret pile load test reports, prepare final foundation design documents
• Assist CAD team with foundation drawings and address construction-stage challenges

Requirements

• Chinese and English speaking is a must
• M.E. / M.Tech in Geo-Technical Engineering
• Knowledge of field tests (SPT, CPT, DCPT) and correlations
• Expertise in open and pile foundations, SBC & settlement calculations, axial & lateral capacity
• Experience with collapsible/liquefiable/swelling/frost susceptible soils
• Hands-on experience conducting/witnessing pile load tests and analyzing reports
• Working knowledge of MS Office, LPILE, and excellent communication skills

Nice to have

• Knowledge of load transfer mechanisms, Staad.Pro, RISA, or FEM software
• Familiarity with international standards and experience in Middle East, Africa, Europe, Australia
• Programming in VBA/Python and renewable industry experience
