Global Installation Engineer-Semi-CVD-Hefei (CVD)

Location: Hefei, China; additional locations include Dalian and Shanghai, China. On-site field service work with travel required 50% of the time. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor equipment.
• Apply diagnostic techniques and digital analytics to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and customers to understand process flows, roadmaps, requirements, and business challenges.
• Train and mentor junior field service engineers.
• Coordinate directly with customers to support smooth equipment operation.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude in pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum systems, and/or thermodynamics.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters, plus basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a passport if travel is required, and ability to meet on-site safety and environmental requirements.
