What you will do

• Lead the mechanical design of renewable energy power electronics products from concept to mass production.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks with full application of GD&T.
• Perform thermal and structural FEA simulations to ensure mechanical reliability under environmental stress.
• Design for manufacturability using plastic injection molding, sheet metal, and die casting.
• Integrate thermal management solutions for high-power density systems, including heatsinks and airflow.
• Manage design reviews, risk assessments (FMEA), and ensure compliance with IP, UL, and IEC standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of mechanical design experience, ideally in renewable energy, power electronics, or energy storage.
• Proficiency in CAD modeling, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to perform structural and thermal analysis using FEA tools like ANSYS.
• Hands-on experience with DFM/DFA principles across plastic, metal, and composite components.
• Location: Must be based in Sorocaba, Sao Paulo, Brazil

Nice to have

• Experience designing enclosures for outdoor, high-voltage, or grid-connected equipment.
• Knowledge of environmental compliance standards (IP65/IP67, UL 1741, IEC 62109).
• Experience with reliability testing, such as salt fog, vibration, or thermal cycling.
• Familiarity with high-volume manufacturing and global supplier collaboration.
