Regional Engineering Supervisor (Logistics Automation)

Location: Primary location in São José dos Campos, Brazil, with alternative locations in Mexico City, Mexico, or Bogotá, Colombia. Occasional travel of up to 20% across LATAM is required.

What you will do

• Lead the identification, design, evaluation, and implementation of engineering and technology solutions across LATAM warehouse and transportation operations.
• Direct engineering studies, warehouse optimization, process redesign, distribution center expansion, layout, material-flow, capacity planning, and network improvement initiatives.
• Drive the implementation and optimization of SAP, WMS, TMS, WCS, control towers, IoT, digital twins, analytics, robotics, AI, machine learning, RPA, and smart warehousing solutions.
• Lead proof-of-concept assessments, feasibility studies, pilots, business cases, implementation plans, adoption strategies, and benefits tracking.
• Manage project scope, budgets, resources, timelines, risks, change control, stakeholder communications, and capital investment proposals.
• Lead, coach, and develop engineering professionals while building technical capabilities and promoting knowledge sharing across LATAM.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, production, logistics, supply chain, automation engineering, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in logistics, distribution, warehouse operations, supply chain engineering, automation, or related environments.
• Proven experience leading people and multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience with ERP and logistics execution systems, plus strong project management experience covering planning, budgeting, stakeholders, risks, resources, and delivery.
• Portuguese, English, and Spanish proficiency is required.

• Experience implementing automation, robotics, material-handling, or smart warehouse solutions.
• Experience leading digital transformation and process modernization programs across multiple countries and cultures.
• Knowledge of AI, advanced analytics, and digital twins in supply chain.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
