Senior Engineer, Power Electronics

What you will do

• Own the development of multiple power converters from a few hundred watts to several megawatts through production.
• Develop AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC conversion solutions for the clean energy product ecosystem.
• Design digital and analog circuits including gate drivers, sensors, switched-mode power supplies, processors, and safety-critical functions.
• Design magnetic components, EMI filters, and EMC compliance solutions, applying DFM and WCA principles.
• Integrate power electronics with mechanical architectures and optimize thermal management in collaboration with mechanical engineers.
• Collaborate with firmware engineers on control algorithms, system diagnostics, NPI, and product tester development at contract manufacturers.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of industry experience, including 5+ years designing and developing power electronics for mass production.
• Experience delivering high-performance power electronics systems from concept to mass production, preferably in the energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor devices, magnetic components, control theory, EMI filters, and EMC test standards.
• Experience with electrical capture and PCB layout tools, particularly Altium Designer.
• Experience leading technical teams or mentoring engineers, with strong troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
