What you will do

• Lead the development of multiple power converters from inception to production, ranging from hundreds of watts to several megawatts.
• Design and develop AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC power conversion solutions tailored to the company ecosystem.
• Develop digital and analog circuits, including gate drivers, sensors, switched-mode power supplies, and safety-critical functions.
• Design and optimize magnetic components and EMI filters while ensuring compliance with EMC test standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers on thermal management and firmware engineers on control algorithms and diagnostics.
• Support product NPI (New Product Introduction) and product tester development at contract manufacturers.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of industry experience, including 5+ years in power electronics design for mass production, preferably in the energy sector.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor devices, magnetic components, and control theory.
• Proficiency in capture and PCB layout tools, particularly Altium Designer.
• Proven track record of delivering high-performance power electronics systems from concept to mass production.
• Must be located in or able to work from Sorocaba, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
