TL;DR
Product Validation Engineer II: Hardware Verification Quality Assurance (QA) (EDA/VLSI): Designing and executing software validation plans, test infrastructure, and automation tools for Palladium hardware emulation with an accent on Verilog, VHDL, Python/Tcl, and Linux-based testing. Focus on debugging with R&D, improving test coverage, analyzing validation results, and supporting release processes.
Location: Onsite in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil

What you will do
- Design and execute software validation and test plans for new features.
- Debug issues with the R&D team and improve test coverage.
- Develop tools and scripts for test generation, execution, result analysis, and reporting.
- Create and maintain test infrastructure on Linux systems.
- Collaborate with the Validation team to support product releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of software testing experience.
- Experience with EDA and VLSI design, including Verilog and VHDL.
- Experience with Tcl or Python scripting environments.
- Experience working in a Unix environment.
- Very good spoken and written English and Portuguese.
Nice to have
- Software development experience with version control systems.
- Knowledge of C++ and ISO 26262.
- Knowledge of DFT/ATPG flows.
- Familiarity with Jenkins.
