What you will do
- Serve as Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager for power sector projects varying in size and complexity.
- Build and manage project teams collaboratively with other Power Sector Project Managers.
- Manage project budget, schedule, and risks using standard processes and tools.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients.
- Review project deliverables for quality assurance and client expectations.
- Participate in proposal processes and marketing activities for Power Sector projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, geography, land use planning, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience with permitting processes through USACE, USFWS, federal land agencies, SHPO, state commissions (MN, IA, WI, MI), or other regulatory agencies, preferably in power industries
- Minimum 5 years of project or deputy project management experience preferred
- Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and independent work abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; willing to travel domestically 0-20%
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify)
Nice to have
- Knowledge or advanced degrees in environmental law, planning, anthropology/archaeology, hydrology, biology, or wetland ecology
- Technical editing experience
