What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of restoration field crews.
• Execute native seeding, planting, erosion control, and invasive species management.
• Plan work schedules, anticipate material needs, and manage staffing for efficient project delivery.
• Coordinate professionally with clients, landowners, contractors, and internal managers.
• Train and mentor field staff to ensure crew cohesion and high-quality performance.
• Maintain accurate daily field documentation, reports, and GIS data.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in natural resources, life sciences, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience leading crews performing ecological-based project work.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment including tractors, skid steers, UTVs, and boats.
• Experience in native/invasive plant identification and herbicide application/calibration.
• Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and ability to pass a drug screen.
• Ability to perform heavy physical work (lift 50 lbs) in various weather conditions and work 10+ hours per day.

Nice to have

• Commercial Pesticide Applicators Certifications in Categories 5.0 and 6.0.
• Active Fed Med Card or Class A Commercial Driver's License.
