What you will do
- Perform equipment troubleshooting, relay testing, start-up, and commissioning services for electrical infrastructure.
- Lead technical teams across multiple markets and project scopes, providing guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
- Provide onsite construction support, supervise installation, and verify compliance with engineering designs.
- Program and install protective relaying, control systems, SCADA, and PLC systems.
- Prepare detailed field testing, investigation, and construction progress reports.
- Assist in the detailed design of electric power systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required, Associates preferred.
- 3+ years of Substation Testing Experience.
- Certification: NETA II/III or NICET II.
- Full-time US work authorization required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience leading highly technical projects.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and travel 50–75% of the time.
Nice to have
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and power system software such as EasyPower, ETAP, or SKM.
- Experience with Omicron test equipment.
- SEL equipment installation and RTAC configuration experience.
- Experience with IEC61850, DNP3, or MODBUS protocols.
