What you will do
- Lead wetland delineations per 1987 USACE Manual and regional supplements.
- Collect, manage, and analyze geospatial data using Trimble and ESRI products.
- Prepare technical reports, memos for project planning and permitting.
- Coordinate with project teams on field expectations and data requirements.
- Perform habitat, functional, vegetation, wildlife, and species-specific surveys.
- Apply situational awareness for in-field risk mitigation and safety compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher in Biology, Ecology, Soil Science, Hydrology, Environmental Science, or related.
- Minimum 3+ years wetland delineations experience, 1+ year leading teams.
- Knowledge of federal/state wetland regulations; Midwest field experience.
- Familiarity with Trimble and ESRI products.
- Excellent communication, organizational skills; MS Office competency.
- Ability to work 10+ hour days/weekends, carry 25lbs gear in adverse conditions; valid driver's license.

- Experience with USACE Atypical and Problem Wetland Areas methodology.
