Sr. Software Engineer - UI/UX (Qt/QML)

Location: Newton, Massachusetts, United States; minimum 4 days per week onsite

Salary: $124,800–$187,200 USD annually, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

hirify.global develops healthcare technologies, including the Affera Prism cardiac electrophysiology mapping system used to diagnose and guide treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.

What you will do

• Own significant Qt/QML UI features and clinical workflows for the Prism Mapping application.
• Make architectural decisions involving UI state, data binding, threading, and interaction patterns.
• Translate Figma designs into responsive production interfaces with UX designers.
• Lead features, components, and subsystems through design, implementation, integration, and support.
• Collaborate with software, systems, hardware, visualization, signals, infrastructure, and quality teams in a regulated environment.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, architecture contributions, and engineering improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with at least 2 years, or a PhD with no required experience.
• Strong production experience with Qt/QML application UIs and real-time or data-rich interfaces.
• Strong Python and/or C++ expertise with production software delivery experience.
• Experience with UI architecture, state management, data binding, and threading between UI and real-time data.
• Experience with complex software applications or subsystems, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration in regulated or quality-driven environments.
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at hiring and throughout employment; sponsorship is offered only for Principal-level roles and above.

Nice to have

• Experience with Linux, networking, multi-device or distributed systems.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Experience contributing to architecture, design standards, or technical direction.
• Experience setting standards for effective use of AI development tools.
