What you will do

• Own production interfaces between signals/algorithms and the rest of Prism Mapping system.
• Collaborate with algorithm developers to productionize new algorithms, optimizing for latency, memory, and determinism.
• Partner with visualization/UI engineers to display algorithm outputs accurately on maps and applications.
• Lead end-to-end development of features, components, or subsystems with architectural decisions on buffering, threading, and data contracts.
• Mentor engineers on signal-domain debugging and set standards for algorithm-adjacent code in regulated environment.
• Contribute to software architecture, design improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with systems/hardware/quality teams.

Requirements

• Onsite minimum 4 days/week in Newton, MA; U.S. work authorization required (no sponsorship below Principal level).
• Bachelor's degree + 4 years relevant experience, or Master's + 2 years, or PhD.
• Experience owning complex software components/subsystems in production environments.
• Strong skills in technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and cross-team communication.

Nice to have

• Real-time/near-real-time signal/data pipelines and DSP fundamentals for biomedical signals.
• Python/C++ expertise in production software, Linux, networking, distributed systems.
• Docker, CI/CD, automated testing, and productionizing research code.
• Experience in regulated/quality-driven environments and using AI development tools.
