Sr. Software Engineer (C++/Linux/Multi-threaded)

Salary: $136,300–$231,700 annually

What you will do

• Design and develop object-oriented software in C and C++.
• Build distributed, high-performance, multi-threaded, and multi-process systems.
• Develop Linux system software and automation scripts in Python.
• Work with networking stacks and troubleshoot complex HPC systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and technical experts to clearly understand and solve complex problems.

Requirements

• Professional experience in C and C++ software design and development.
• Experience with distributed systems, HPC systems, multi-threading, and multi-process software.
• Linux system programming experience and Python scripting skills.
• Understanding of networking stacks and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience, Master’s degree with 3 years of related experience, or Doctorate with no related experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud technologies for networking, storage, containerization, and computing clusters.
• Linux kernel configuration, network infrastructure troubleshooting, or Linux device driver development.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting real-time HPC systems.
