Sr Associate Software Engineer (Python)

Salary: $102,916.30-$139,239.70 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, integrate, and support scalable enterprise applications, APIs, services, data solutions, and automation.
• Translate business and technical requirements into technical designs, data flows, integration patterns, implementation tasks, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop data pipelines, transformations, integrations, and data-quality controls using Python, SQL, PySpark, Databricks, and APIs.
• Build microservices, event-driven solutions, and containerized applications with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS container services.
• Support CI/CD, DevOps automation, monitoring, observability, incident response, root-cause analysis, and production reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders while contributing to Agile delivery and engineering standards.

Requirements

• Master’s degree and 3 years, bachelor’s degree and 4 years, associate’s degree and 6 years, or high school diploma/GED and 8 years of Information Systems experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing, integrating, deploying, or supporting enterprise software or data solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, including relational data concepts, data transformations, and troubleshooting data issues.
• Experience with software architecture, modular development, design patterns, APIs, web services, microservices, automation, and enterprise integrations.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, Git, GitLab, automated testing, application monitoring, security controls, and incident response.
• Ability to independently deliver moderately complex technical assignments and collaborate with global, virtual, cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, AWS, Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, or GitLab integrations.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Rafay, AWS ECR, EKS, ECS, Fargate, infrastructure automation, or infrastructure as code.
• Experience integrating AI services, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, or intelligent automation into business applications.
• Experience delivering software in healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other highly regulated environments.
