What you will do

• Gather and validate financial data for reporting and analysis.
• Support the development of financial reports, models, and dashboards.
• Prepare variance analyses by comparing actuals to budget and identifying key drivers.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and data accuracy checks.
• Track expenses, review cost trends, and support forecasting efforts.
• Maintain documentation of financial processes, data sources, and reporting logic.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in at least junior or senior year of undergraduate or graduate studies.
• Basic understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Foundational knowledge of Excel formulas and functions for data analysis.
• Ability to interpret numerical data and translate findings into clear summaries.
• Strong analytical thinking and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Must be based within a reasonable commute of the Raleigh office for hybrid work.
