What you will do

  • Troubleshoot domain names, DNS records, and web hosting issues including cPanel and server uptime.
  • Resolve email configuration problems involving SMTP, IMAP, and MX records.
  • Address basic website issues related to WordPress, SSL certificates, and connectivity.
  • Communicate with customers via chat, email, and phone calls to resolve technical problems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sysadmins, billing, and abuse departments.
  • Research and independently identify solutions for complex, non-scripted technical issues.

Requirements

  • Strong English communication skills (spoken, written, and reading).
  • Strong problem-solving and logical thinking abilities.
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, technical environment.
  • Must be based in Cebu, Philippines.

Nice to have

  • Experience with web hosting, domains, or DNS.
  • Familiarity with tools like cPanel, WHM, or WordPress.
  • Previous experience in technical support roles.
  • Upselling experience within a technical support context.
