What you will do

  • Drive SMB business growth and achieve regional revenue targets through channel and partner engagement.
  • Develop and execute SMB-focused channel business plans with distributors and resellers.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with SMB-focused channel partners across Japan.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support partner-led pipeline generation.
  • Conduct regular partner business reviews, forecast discussions, and pipeline management.
  • Support partner enablement through training, product updates, and joint customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Channel Sales or Partner Sales within the IT industry.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through channel partners in a competitive market.
  • Strong understanding of the Japan IT partner ecosystem and go-to-market models.
  • Experience working with distributors, resellers, and strategic alliance partners.
  • Must be based in Tokyo, Japan for a hybrid work arrangement.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of virtualization, cloud, backup, or infrastructure technologies.
