Project Director (Data Centres)

What you will do

• Lead the program management team and oversee pre-construction, construction, and fit-out activities for new data centre builds.
• Own project scope, safety, quality, schedule, budget, risk management, and delivery reporting.
• Coordinate with customers, general contractors, suppliers, internal teams, senior management, and the PMO.
• Review constructability of electrical and mechanical systems and support project scopes, equipment requirements, proposals, and capital requests.
• Manage tender packages, cost reporting, cash flows, cost-to-complete reports, vendor claims, variations, and time-related claims.
• Oversee project handover to operations and support continuous improvement of program processes and design standards.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in large-scale construction.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in mechanical, electrical, civil, or structural engineering, project management, or construction management.
• Experience with a data centre operator, hyperscale company, or cloud provider in the APAC market.
• Flexible, forward-thinking, results-focused, and able to work effectively through continuous changes in direction.
• Demonstrated willingness to take ownership and deliver outcomes in a collaborative environment.
