TL;DR

Partnerships Administrator (Education): Providing administrative and project support for the management and oversight of collaborative partnerships across Further and Higher Education with an accent on quality assurance and process implementation. Focus on managing partnership registries, maintaining electronic record systems, and coordinating validation award documentation.

Location: Hybrid; must be based in or near Milton Keynes (office attendance required approximately once per week on Wednesdays).

Salary: £27,319 to £30,378 pro rata

What you will do

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and project support to the Partnerships management team.
  • Manage shared email boxes and coordinate queries from colleagues across the university.
  • Maintain and update the University registry of Partnerships and the internal website.
  • Support the Approvals Team with meeting coordination, site visits, and feedback collation for validated awards.
  • Prepare award documentation and certificates in liaison with the Validation and Awards Co-ordinator.
  • Develop and maintain accurate electronic records and consistent filing systems.

Requirements

  • Advanced IT skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience in an administrative post, including data entry, minute taking, and office cover.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to proofread and amend documentation.
  • Proven ability to work with high accuracy and attention to detail under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a busy, changing environment.
  • Must be able to attend the Milton Keynes office regularly (typically Wednesdays).

Nice to have

  • Awareness of the Higher Education sector nationally and internationally.
  • Experience with Quality Assurance processes and procedures.
  • Experience working within partnerships teams or collaborative provision.
  • Project management experience or website maintenance skills.
