TL;DR

Location: Hybrid; must work from the New York office 3 days per week

Salary: $105,000 - $115,000

What you will do

  • Oversee day-to-day payroll processing operations across multiple countries and frequencies.
  • Calculate and report tax liabilities, including periodic, quarterly, and annual reconciliations.
  • Manage payroll tax reporting systems and coordinate with external payroll vendors.
  • Resolve employee and stakeholder queries via the team’s ticketing system.
  • Lead and develop the Payroll Team, fostering a professional and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with Finance, People Ops, Legal, and FP&A teams to ensure organizational alignment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of recent hands-on experience with multi-national payrolls.
  • Experience leading or managing a team.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and comfort with large data sets.
  • Solid understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration (preferred).
  • Professional payroll certification (preferred).

  • Experience with CloudPay and ADP.
