TL;DR
Tax Senior Manager (US Tax): Managing the end-to-end US tax lifecycle and compliance with an accent on Federal, State, and Sales & Use tax. Focus on overseeing the tax provision process under ASC 740 and IFRS, maintaining SOX controls, and providing technical tax guidance to the accounting team.
Location: Remote (US). Must be based in one of the following states: CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, MO, NC, NJ, NH, NY, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI.
Salary: $116,394 - $130,943 USD per year

What you will do
- Lead US federal, state, and local tax compliance, including managing BPO providers and overseeing Sales & Use tax reporting and nexus monitoring.
- Manage the end-to-end preparation and review of quarterly and annual US income tax provisions according to ASC 740 and IFRS.
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust SOX-compliant internal control environment for the US tax function.
- Provide technical tax guidance to the corporate accounting team and manage tax-related month-end close activities.
- Monitor changes in tax accounting standards and evaluate their impact on financial statements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional tax experience, preferably within a Big 4 accounting firm or a multinational corporation.
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740, IFRS, US GAAP, and international tax compliance (mandatory).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Must have valid work authorization and be based in a supported US state.

- Proficiency with AI tools.
- Experience with Tax Software (e.g., OneSource) and ERP systems.
