What you will do
- Conduct electrical studies for renewable facilities, covering substations and collection systems for solar, wind, and BESS.
- Develop technical reports for short circuit, reactive power/load flow, arc flash, protection coordination, and harmonic analysis.
- Lead client-facing projects for renewable system studies and establish standardized templates and best practices.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for power system modeling software, providing technical support and troubleshooting for the team.
- Ensure regulatory compliance throughout all project phases, from conceptual design through testing and commissioning.
- Perform QA/QC reviews for electrical studies and occasionally assist with field testing and start-up services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
- FE licensure is required; PE licensure is preferred.
- Proficiency in power system modeling software such as PowerFactory and ETAP.
- Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
