What you will do
- Lead or support substation projects as technical specialist, providing coordination and expertise on EPC activities.
- Develop protection & control designs: protective relays, one/three-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, wiring.
- Create physical designs: yard plans, grounding, lightning protection, control buildings, auxiliary power.
- Perform quality reviews of design packages and mentor junior team members.
- Prepare equipment specs, BOMs, budgets, schedules; communicate with clients, vendors, stakeholders.
- Support business development, proposals, and potential travel for reviews and site verification.
Requirements
- Burlington, MA, US location; hybrid/flexible after 90 days based on manager discretion
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from accredited program.
- Minimum 5 years related work experience in electrical engineering.
- Ability to complete pre-employment checks: background, drug screen, motor vehicle records.
- No visa sponsorship available
Nice to have
- HV substation design experience (Physical/Protection & Controls).
- Project lead experience with utility clients.
- QA/QC reviews, client coordination.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- Proficient with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office.
