Sr. IT Project Manager (SDLC)

TL;DR

Sr. IT Project Manager (SDLC): Leading and delivering enterprise-level IT projects focused on SDLC and application development with an accent on cross-functional team execution and stakeholder coordination. Focus on managing multiple concurrent projects, driving adherence to Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and ensuring delivery within budget and schedule.

Location: Hybrid in Tampa, FL (3 days onsite / 2 days remote). Must be eligible to work on W2 only (No C2C).

What you will do

• Manage 3–5 concurrent enterprise IT projects focused on SDLC and application development.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, milestones, timelines, and resource plans.
• Facilitate project meetings, maintain detailed transcripts, and coordinate between internal IT teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Track project budgets, estimates, and manage RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies).
• Translate complex technical information into business-friendly communication for various stakeholder audiences.
• Ensure strict adherence to project management standards, SDLC methodologies, and infrastructure processes.

Requirements

• Extensive experience managing SDLC and application development projects within complex enterprise environments.
• Proven hands-on expertise with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience in vendor management and forecasting time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Work authorization for W2 employment is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience within the electric utility industry.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and Smartsheets.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Jira.
