What you will do

  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems for both Canadian and US-based employees.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system setup.
  • Ensure company compliance with federal, provincial, and local employment laws and regulations in Canada and the US.
  • Process payroll and administer benefits, acting as a liaison with providers in both regions.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and promote an inclusive internal culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in Human Resources.
  • Proven experience in employee relations and payroll/tax management.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations in both Canada and the US.
  • Expertise in compliance, leave management, and benefits administration.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and remote-first environment.
