Product Owner

TL;DR

Product Owner (Agile): Serve as the liaison between Product Management and Engineering to maximize product value and define delivery strategy with an accent on backlog management, story definition, and Scrum leadership. Focus on leading Agile ceremonies, tracking progress, mitigating impediments, and upholding the product vision through deployment.

Location: 100% Remote. Team based in Latin America.

What you will do

• Maximize product value by ensuring development team delivers high-quality software aligned with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with engineering to define execution strategy, delivery timelines, and backlog prioritization.
• Build and maintain product backlog, create Epics and Stories meeting Definition of Ready and Done.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and demos.
• Track sprint/release progress, communicate updates to stakeholders, and remove impediments.
• Participate in shaping and upholding the product vision from design to deployment.

Requirements

• Proven track record of streamlining and transforming internal business processes.
• Experience partnering with Technical Owners on Agile squads for predictable software delivery.
• Exceptional communication for collaborating with Product Managers, Architects, Security, DBAs, UX Designers, and Customers.
• Ability to translate complex business/technical problems into actionable solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.

Nice to have

• Acumen in emerging technologies, especially AI.
• Understanding of software architecture, database administration, and security.
