Staff Software Engineer, Information Systems (Fullstack)

Location: San Jose, California, United States. Applicants must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements for access to ITAR/EAR-controlled information.

Salary: $210,000–$234,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead the definition and development of platforms, tools, and applications for the Information Systems team.
• Develop and maintain internal software using modern engineering methodologies and tools.
• Align team roadmaps with product requirements and mission needs.
• Own the full software lifecycle from product concept through delivery and maintenance for internal customers.
• Lead information systems architecture, technology selection, and buy-vs-build decisions.
• Define metrics, support company goals, and collaborate with internal teams and departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of full-stack software engineering experience across frontend and backend development.
• Deep expertise in Python and JavaScript, with React and Angular.
• Experience selecting, deploying, and optimizing SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and InfluxDB.
• Proficiency developing, versioning, and optimizing REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible to access export-controlled information or obtain the required U.S. export authorization.
