What you will do

• Develop and execute commodity strategies to drive cost savings and improve supply assurance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to manage BOM-aligned spend.
• Build and maintain a commodity-specific initiative pipeline to forecast procurement projects.
• Track commodity metrics and savings targets, providing regular updates to leadership.
• Partner with risk and compliance groups to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in category management, procurement, or purchasing for direct materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project) for analysis and tracking.
• Strong analytical and financial skills for evaluating total cost and savings.
• Must be based in or able to work from Reno, NV or Las Vegas, NV.

Nice to have

• Experience sourcing direct components (electronics, electromechanical, metal fabrication) in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with supplier quality processes (PPAP/FAI, audits).
• Knowledge of contract terms, Incoterms, and basic logistics supporting material flow.
