Salary: $190,000 - $275,000 USD

What you will do

• Architect, design, and ship major platform features including the IoT core and licensing ledger.
• Develop and lead the device-metrics platform end-to-end.
• Drive operational improvements to increase system robustness and reduce pager noise.
• Mentor other engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and crisp written communication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to align the platform's long-term roadmap.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building scalable backend services with consistency and uptime guarantees.
• Fluency in Python or Go (experience with Ruby or Node.js is also welcome).
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (required for FedRAMP compliance).
• Must be able to work onsite five days per week in San Mateo, CA.
• Strong ability to shape technical direction and communicate effectively with peer teams.
