What you will do

• Design, develop, and ship scalable technical solutions across multiple hirify.global services.
• Implement high-availability backend services and APIs to support Copilot features worldwide.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship through code reviews and pairing.
• Own system health and operational excellence, including participation in on-call rotations.
• Create architecture briefs and build prototypes to achieve planetary scale.
• Utilize CI/CD tools to set up automated pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent degree/experience combination).
• Proven experience delivering production software in languages such as Go, Ruby, Java, Python, Rust, C#, or C++.
• Experience building and operating distributed systems in production with a focus on reliability and performance.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience with scripting languages like Bash or Python.
• 2+ years of experience with general-purpose languages such as Go or Ruby.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud environments and Cloud Native Compute Foundation (CNCF) concepts.
